Announcing the first Farcaster L2: Cast!
After working 6 years on Meta infra for 3 billion users, I knew Farcaster proliferation had to be cheaper - we built it.
Cast already has ~500,000 messages external to Farcaster, with ~30,000 .cast handles, only costing 35 cents per year to use. Compared to $7 per year fees on Farcaster, this is a 95% savings. Handles also provide access to FarQuest, the best way to explore and learn about Farcaster. Cast also syncs with Farcaster L1 data.
